Do you feel bad for her

I was just on YouTube and I saw a video about a women who got her face shot. She got her eyes and cheeks shot out and of course she’s blind. This happened to her in high school. She was the look out while some of her friends robbed a gun store, they all went back to her home and started drinking. When they started drinking, one person picked up the gun and didn’t know that the gun had bullets in it and shot her in the face. She never went to jail or got put on probation for her involvement in the crime. Past forward year later, doctors gave her a prosthetic face and she is living a good life (as good as it can be.) Do you think it was right for not being charged for being a accomplice to the crime? The guns her friends stole, and she knew they stole them ultimately changed her life forever.
