Why did you decide to do IVF?

After my first failed IUI - I was heading into the specialist to start round 2. When they did the baseline ultrasound they saw an ovarian cyst and said we had to take a month off. I was angry. I wasn’t even sad. Just angry. So I asked, if we do IVF we have to take a month off right? They said yes, so I said screw it. This month off will be the month off before IVF. I’m not doing IUI anymore. Odds were too low and I felt like I was throwing money into something that would just prolong the inevitable of IVF. (I know many couple have success with IUI - I just was discouraged and angry). So, we scheduled our IVF consult. 
Today is CD1 and I’m starting birth control on day 3 (Tuesday) then after 14 days I’ll take a 5 day break and then I start stims 😊 
I’ve never been so ready and motivated for IVF. It used to scare me but I’m determined and ready to do whatever it takes. 
Our infertility is due to suspected endometriosis and a couple years ago I had a LEEP procedure. Specialist said they shaved off my cervical mucus plugs during the LEEP so the sperm most likely have nothing to swim in and the suspected endo is causing inflammation in my uterus. They hoped IUI would bypass all that but I want higher odds so straight to IVF now.

I did 4 IUI’s and after those failed we moved onto IVF. We have male factor infertility and I just turned 30 and we had been trying for over 3 years.
