Anybody else doing this alone?

Hi mom friends! I’m 20 weeks expecting a baby girl January 2nd and my now ex boyfriend just told me he didn’t want to be with me. He stated this isn’t something that he wanted. He doesn’t want to be with me and be miserable for the rest of his life. So he’s having a kid with me and that’s it. 
A few days later when he didn’t show up to our anatomy scan he said, “just don’t tell anybody (meaning my family) anything yet I haven’t made my decision yet”
I am currently still processing this. I was just wondering if any of you have been through this or could give me some advice on how to handle this.

There’s no reason you shouldn’t tell his family. I don’t like him trying to keep you quiet. He has a responsibility he can’t pretend it’s not happening even if you don’t stay together. So I would find a way to tell the family tbh. If a man is going to have sex he has to be man enough to deal with a pregnancy not try to circumvent the mother!!!

Its hard to go through but it makes you strong. I am 26 with a 4 year old girl. I have been a single parent since she was born. It is a TOUGH job as there isnt the help you should be getting from the other parent. But everyday you survive it. Tell your family as a support system of any sort is going to be needed. Im expecting bby number 2 jan 12th and although the dad is around and we are together. I still keep the mind frame of a single parent. It doesnt leave room for dissapointment. Enjoy your pregnancy with or without him. I wish you all the best 💛

Going through this now. He has two other kids, I’m not even sure if I should ask him to go to the anatomy scan because I know I will be upset if and when he says no and comes up with an excuse 😥

So sorry, haven’t been through this but just wanted to say that this is your body, your baby and regardless of what your ex wants, your choices are the only important ones here. You can totally do this without him and it would be his loss 💪🏻
