Me an my daughter a match ? Kidney

Hey so ... how do I go about getting tested to see if my baby girl is a match for my organs ? She isn’t sick at all or anything like that but I wanna be sure that If something ever did happen to her or in the future to any of my other kids I may have that we would be a match for a heart , kidney, lung, etc.. I would also want to get her father tested as well.

I’m not sure that they will even do all of that testing unless it was for a necessary reason.  I’d think the best you could do is check blood types.

They won’t do all of that testing unless a medical condition calls for it. The most you can do now is to find out your blood types.

I don’t think insurance companies would allow this unless there’s a reason (example: genetic testing of parents came up with a + result). I’d ask your pediatrician, I’d be curious of the answer, so update us. I do know from a relative who needed bone marrow, blood type is not the same. His full blood siblings were not matches

What i know is that is blood type everytime that i have given birth i been told their blood type but been honest i always forget i only remember one of my boys is A+ I'm O+

I’m pretty sure it’s just your blood type that matters but I’d ask a dr to be sure
