Where to put the potty during potty training ?

I know I know. In the bathroom. That’s the obvious answer. Lately when reading about this on the boards I’ve been seeing more women say they put the potty in the child’s bedroom.  This is to make the experience more comfortable for them. 
Starting potty training soon and just getting all the tips I can lol.

Whatever room you're in was the easiest for us😊 when my little sisters were potty training (now 6&9) they used to refuse to leave the room mum was in so the potty travelled. Once they got the hang of it they went to the toilet no problem

The first few days we had it in the living room where we spent most of our time. She’d sit on it for a good 20 minutes with the tv on. It made her feel more comfortable, relaxed, and could ‘do her business’. Once she was comfortable going on it, we put it in the bathroom

Hi! So my 3.5 year old potty trained w months ago. I kept the potty in the living room the 1st few days til he was comfortable using the big bathroom (10 ft away) Thankfully he uses the bathroom everytime mow. Except during naptime and overnight I leave the potty in his room and he gets up to go throughout the night. I keep it VERY sanitary I wash and sanitize after every use. Seems to work for us.
