Guy problems

So me and this boy has had problems and he decided that he wanted me back and I do wanna fix things out .. But then he says this to me today ? what does this mean? we have been a little distant but I think that'll change once we see each other ? Help I'm really attached to him . I don't wanna just give up but he confuses me and I don't know what's going on .  The first time we stopped talking it was over something really petty and then he came to my house to fix things and I didn't really take it serious and the next few days we stopped talking all together and then this happens a few weeks later
