Bizarre bloating and FODMAP
I really wanted to share this with all of you ladies, especially ones who had bloating issues during the period.
This are not before and after pregnancy photos, but this happens every time when I eat beans, onion and apples or drink soda (fuzzy drinks) and alcohol. Most of the time is not bad like on the photo except when I’m on my period. Yap, that’s the period photo.
And that is my sad life story - for almost 30 years, I looked pregnant, even as a kid, and all people around me thought that I’m just you know fat. I was dieting as a teen, got eating disorder, and even with 47kg (100 ibs) had this look. You’re allowed to eat onion and drink zero kcal cola while on diet, right...
So, last October I decided to start weight lifting and look a little what I eat (never was on diet or counting calories- just trying to eat healthier) and nothing happened. My belly looked the same. I had lost my boobs and ass but that belly was indestructible.
A few months ago, I heard about FODMAP diet and tried and voila! In just two weeks I lost the fucking belly! I crave for onions but hey I can wear high waisted jeans and be comfortable! I do not have bloating episodes if I avoid some types of food.
So, if you have stubborn belly “fat” and while on your period or just before period you get this bizarre non pregnant pregnancy look, google FODMAP diet and give it a try.
The night when the big belly photo was taken I had pepsi and I was on the second day of my period.
