How to bring up STD’s?

I think I may have chlamydia. I got tested and am waiting on results, but how do I bring this up with my partner? I’m pretty sure I got it from him, and I’m not mad or anything I know it’s asymptomatic for most and he could have gotten it in the past a long time ago and just didn’t know about it. But how do I bring it up to him without offending him or making it sound like I’m putting blame or shame on it?

I've been here.  It was trich though.  
As soon as I got symptoms, I told him.  I said Im not trying to accuse you, but this is what's going on and it started after we had unprotected sex.  He was pretty understanding about it.  
That being said, do not have sex with him until you get it sorted.  It's an awkward conversation but it needs to be had

Wait for the results before you say anything. But also be open. 
I had a staph infection down there which at first looked like Herpes. I was terrified, because since it can lay dormant for so long I knew there was one person I got it from and it wasn't my current bf. I felt horrible. But I told him. Because my anxiety was telling me it could only be herpes. It couldn't be anything else. Went to the Dr and it turns out I had a staph infection and a yeast infection. Turns out he got a staph infection too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We just laugh about it now 😅

Why do u think u have it , it can be an infection . The same thing just happens to me last month. After we had unprotected sex my vagina was off and I told him and I asked him is he sure he’s been tested and when I went to get tested it was just bv. Just tell him what’s going on , he should understand and not be upset about it
