Infection already????

Question

So a guy fingered me last night and after  it burned when i peed but went away and the next  day and now its starting to itch ?! Should i just treat it as a yeast infection?!

It could be an infection, but it could also just be irritated. Your urethra opening is very close to the vaginal opening so it is possible that he irritated the area. If it is super uncomfortable, try applying a warm compress. Infections usually (not always!) take a few days for symptoms to come on. If you’re still having symptoms 2 days from the incident, it’s likely there’s infection and you should see a doctor!
