When you think your kid is teething, do you give them pain meds to help sleep?

I only do when I have exhausted every other option. I don’t like giving him medication if I’m not sure that he needs it.

Depends, I can tell how bad it is based on what he does. If he’s drooling a lot and chewing on everything then yes we will give him a dose of pain meds to help him sleep and we will once he wakes up before he is off to school (they have remedies there for teething). We just put him to bed with some Tylenol because he’s cutting one of his final four molars. I can’t wait until it’s over

I won’t give it during the day because I can do things to help but at night I always do. She wakes up in pain. Except this last one 🤦🏻‍♀️ I didn’t realize her tooth was coming in. We just discovered it today.

I do when I know I can’t do anything else to soothe them and only do so usually at night so they can rest. Doctor once told me that if adults had to go through teething it would be so painful we would need pain meds to be able to go through the pain.
