Stupid question about Gestational Diabetes

I feel so dumb for asking but I don’t see my doctor until next week but is it possible for Gestational Diabetes to “go away” as you inch closer to 40wks?

When I first started, My sugars were in the 100’s (under 120) after meals and fasting was in the mid 80’s. But after being on this diet for a while my sugars have been in between 80-100 after meals and fasting has been in the low to mid 70s.
