Implantation or early period?

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can provide some advice. My period is usually on a 28 day cycle, but on CD 24 I started brown spotting which continued for 3 days, very light, started only when wiping and then the 3rd day wore a pantyliner. If that was an early period, no tampon was needed. It started on 10dpo which would make sense implantation wise. I have been spotting each month anyway but usually right when my period is due, never starting 4 days before. I have read that implantation can occur right before a period, but I also had 2 long brown clots with the spotting and I've heard that clots mean it's not implantation but some people say they experienced clots then got a BFP. My boobs were also super tender from 7dpo - 10dpo but stopped when the spotting started (I never get sore boobs.) My period should really be due today and has not arrived, the spotting has stopped other than after I pee, there is tons of tiny pieces of brown tissue floating around. What does this mean? Anyone experience this before?? 🤔 (I did take a test today, BFN.)
