Contractions? 40+1 FTM

Question

Does your stomach gets hard and kind of wierd shape and you get period like pain when you get contractions? Becouse i thought that was baby just pushing up but now i'm not that sure.. And i lost a bit of mucus plug tonight for the first time.

Yes it does. I would call your labor & delivery department. Also start counting your contractions and kick counts. 
I had my baby at 38wk + 4 days as FTM. Didn't lose my mucous plug but had strong contractions with less than 10 kick counts. Labor & Department advice nurses advised me to come in due to no fetal movement.  Went in 4cm dilated already in labor 😬.
