Such an idiot

I’m such an idiot! I just moved house the first one on my own with my little baby. Well I’m so tired and drained. But I made a very costly mistake! I was given a fridge freezer was quite big but on the way to me it fell over so I bought a thermometer for the freezer to keep eye on it in case it broke well..... the dick I am was reading the wrong side and thought it wasn’t going down to the correct temp so after lots of faff turning it off for 24 hours etc I was still reading it wrong so I went and bought a new one! To read the same temps so there was nothing wrong with the one I was given!

Now I’m gutted I spend money on a new one and didn’t need to! Please someone say they have done the same? I’m seriously annoyed with myself
