I want a baby so bad

I'm 41 almost 42 in Nov for the past year and a half of head irregular periods for almost a year straight all I did was bleed the doctor did a D&C and was hoping that would work and help get my periods back on track but it did not work so you put me on a hormone pill 14 days on and 14 days off that's helped my bleeding my question is though can you still conceive even though you have any problems like this... he put me on Medroxyprogesterone 10 mg help my periods become regular remember he says I'm not starting menopause I started this pill I started this pill October 4th 2018 he was only going to put me on it for six months but now I guess he wants to keep me on it for a year I just would like to know what's going on with me seems like nobody really knows and I really want a baby with my fiance he has no children minor all growing I am almost 42 but is even possible with what's going on with me when I say bleeding I used to bleed like a cow big old blood clots and everything but since I started the pill I don't bleed like that anymore my biggest fear is stopping the pill and it didn't work can you still conceive... I have a doctor's appointment coming up but I don't even know how to talk to him about wanting to have a baby with my fiance because I'm 41 I'm afraid he'll look at me like I'm nuts with all the problems I've had and I just don't know how to talk to him about it like I said I'm afraid he's just going to look at me like I'm a nuts and it has been very sad lately I would like to experience having another baby cuz I was young when I had mine I'd like to have a baby with someone that loves me like my fiance I just feel like it's helpless like it won't happen and I just been so sad lately about it
