My 2 year old has a speech delay, that I know. But we took her to a developmental pediatrician about two days ago and she said she’s borderline autistic. But she said she’s most likely high functioning because my daughter keeps very good eye contact, always engages those around her, responds and knows her name, doesn’t obsessively line up toys, and enjoys playing with other children. I want to go for a second opinion just to be safe. And now I’m pregnant with our second and I’m terrified this one will have similar delays. I guess if anyone has experience with autism or anyone had a misdiagnosis, or anyone that’s similar to my daughter, please give me some uplifting words. Thanks ❤️
