My cat still has blue eyes??

Question

He’s 3 1/2 months old and still has blue eyes? My friend keeps telling me it’s rare for his breed. I know all cats are born with blue eyes and they change. But it says they pretty much stop changing once they’re 3 months. Anyone know if he’ll keep the blue eyes?

Those are more of a blue green and they are gorgeous! I don't think they will change much from this point forward though. While they are born with blue, most are pretty well settled into their adult eye color even before they hit 2 months. Even then, with solid blue eyes, you can tell the difference when they are born by looking at the eye shine. I used to breed and show a few different breeds and I've seen plenty of blue eyes, but very few like your baby's. You are so lucky! Looks like the ocean in there.

That’s a very established eye color! Don’t think it will change! Here is my little guys sweet blue eyes when he was two months! They are still the same! 😊 the only thing that’s changed in coloring is his patterns have gotten darker!

Another thing, is it a ginger tabby or a Ojos Azules? The Ojos Azules can actually keep their blue eyes into adult hood believe it or not

Looks like they’re turning green now.  That’s about the age my Maine coon transitioned from blue to green eyes.
