Have you and your significant other had sex postpartum?

I’ve seen a lot of post about postpartum sex and I’m just curious. My husband and I had sex for the first time 5 weeks postpartum (my doctor knows) and continue to have a regular sex life. I understand others are different and that’s alright too! As a reminder ladies, there is no pressure or time frame. Getting use to our new bodies and new humans are hard

We tried after my 6 week pp appointment but it just was not comfortable. I did not feel ready until yesterday and I am now 13 weeks pp.

Tried first time at 6 weeks hurt so bad. Tried again at 8 a little better. Have done it twice more since then and just over 10 weeks and it finally feels normal again and good. And I had a c section. Healing takes time and practice getting back at it.

We had sex at 3 weeks postpartum (had a c section bleeding stopped but it was still a bad idea that I know) and it felt normal I didn’t have pain or any feeling of being uncomfortable. We didn’t have sec again until I was cleared at 6 weeks and still was good. I’m self conscious of my body after my c section but he tells me he loves my body and me so I’m getting use to it.

We had sex about a month out from our sons birth (vaginal). It was very painful the first time but gets to be slightly less painful each time. It’s now 8 weeks pp and we’ve had sex 4 times... I can’t wait until it feels good again...

We have not yet due to my episiotomy site is STILL not completely healed. 9 weeks ppd this Thursday.
