Moses basket worries

So a friend of mine gave me her old moses basket, her baby only used it for like 4 months before they moved her into a cot just because she gained weight hella quick and outgrew the basket.

So naturally when I got the basket I bought a new mattress, washed all the bedding etc etc... But now I'm worried because as I see the Moses basket stood in the stand, the middle has a dip in it. I know babies need to lie flat so I'm just concerned that she will sink a little 🤔 do I need to buy a brand new basket or is this totally normal? As I imagine even new baskets may dip when you put a baby in it?

May sound like a stupid question but I'm a ftm 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
