My fiance hates when I wear makeup (pics/texts included!)

This morning, my fiance got upset with me for wearing makeup to work. I used to get ready every single day until he started having an issue with it. I work in a very professional office setting, but to avoid conflict- I stopped doing my makeup.

He makes comments if I wear even the slightest bit and makes it seem like if I'm putting in the effort to get ready for my job, then even on the weekends where I'm relaxing and taking care of the baby, I need to get ready then too. Which sometimes I do, but most weekends we just relax and take it easy!

He makes me feel so small and dumb about this. My makeup looks very clean and respectable, but he told me he feels like it's to impress someone else EVEN THOUGH I told him I do it to make myself feel good because I just had a baby 6 months ago.

Anyone else ever dealt with this? What should I do? I dont want to be chastised every time I put effort into my appearance 😭

The text is after our phone call where he said he felt insecure and like I was trying to impress someone else. Now he is being really short and wont talk to me.
