Who has a cerclage??????

I’m curious is there are any others ladies with a cerclage? If you have one are you getting p17 shots ( Progesterone shots) or progesterone pills? Or No progesterone just the cerclage alone??? Thanks ladies

I got my cerclage at 14 weeks. I’m 20 weeks now. My 1st child was born at 29 weeks due to Pprom. My 2nd child I got a preventative cerclage at 13 weeks plus progesterone shots and he was born heathy full term at 38 weeks. With this 3rd pregnancy I have the cerclage again but my insurance company denied the request for the progesterone shot twice. I’m blown away because I have a History Of Pre-term Birth and IC....I have the same insurance company I had when I was getting the shots with the 2nd child. My doctors and o just don’t understand. Cigna  claims because I have a cerclage I don’t need the shot along with it. So now I’m just praying this little girls stays in long enough to have a fighting chance. 😔

I have a cerclage and got it at 15 weeks and not progesterone.

My sister had to have one and get weekly shots but when she went it to get it removed it had disappeared but she did carry until 39 weeks and had a healthy baby boy
