25w1d & measuring 3 weeks larger

My maternity doctor whom I see every month measures from my pubic bone to the top of my uterus. Today, she told me that I am measuring 3 weeks ahead. All my other measurements have been right on track before today’s apt.

I’m not sure why It went from being perfectly aligned to my due date (five weeks ago at my last visit), to suddenly being 3 weeks ahead of schedule today. I am being tested for GD in a couple of weeks, and I also have to go for another ultrasound to assess.

I started my pregnancy in the overweight category at 164lbs at 5’5, and I am now at 173lbs at 25w1d. I honestly felt like my weight gain was going okay during my pregnancy, but now I am not so sure. I’ve ate a lot more this month as I was constantly hungry, and I’m worried I have caused my baby to gain too much weight.

Anyone else have their baby suddenly measuring ahead of schedule? My doctor says I may have to be induced early 😥
