Birth control?

Question

Do I know many birth control pills aren’t recommended for breastfeeding. 
Wondering what other momma are going to do for birth control? I know that another child isn’t recommended for woman till 9-18 months. 
So definitely don’t want another little one yet, don’t know if I want a another I almost died in childbirth. But I do want my daughter to have a close in she sibling. My two year loser children were adopted and my husbands son is 11 so he is more of like a uncle plus he doesn’t live with us.

My doctor said there’s a birth control that is progesterone based birth control, instead of estrogen based, that is good for women who are breastfeeding

I personally cannot take birth control. It causes abscesses in my body. I’ve tried everything under the sun. My exclusively breast feeding so that is part of my birth control along with the pull out method. I know it’s not 100% but it’s what we are doing. My body doesn’t ovulate without my Metformin medication so I’ve stopped taking it until my little man is older. 
There is the mini pill that is safe for breastfeeding. It’s low dose too. It didn’t work for my body but I’ve heard great things about it.

I had the Nuva ring in high school. I thought it fell out when i used the rest room one day but it didn’t. It was inside of me for a month or two and I didn’t have a period. It fell out eventually. So I strayed from it.
