Is it normal that ever since I started the pill I haven’t felt like myself emotionally and mentally I feel like I’m not there (as my normal self) and it’s been affecting my relationships I feel really depressed I never get horny and I never feel the need for affection from or for my boyfriend

Everytime I’m on the pill my sex drives is basically non-existent and I get pretty depressed. I don’t want anyone love from my SO and don’t even want him to try and comfort me. I got an IUD instead and it’s a lot better, maybe talk to your doctor about your options and see if there’s a different one you want to try or wait a few cycles to see if your body/mood goes back to normal after getting used to the extra hormones from the pill.

I was the exact same way when I was on the pill. It was really confusing cause I felt like I had no emotion at all. It all really depends on how your body reacts to stuff though because my friend is on the pill and she says she doesn’t feel different at all
