Baby shower / sprinkle

Hello to the mommies out there I have a question for you what's the difference between a baby shower and a sprinkle shower I ask because my best friend is having a baby and she is 7 months pregnant and I wanted to do something before she has the kid  so can You help me figure this out thanks a lot .
