Sad baby :(

Kauai
Liam is always so happy, and he has never been one to cry, mostly just grunt ha but tonight it's like something snapped in him and he has been bawling till he is red in the face and nothing can calm him :( he keeps acting like he wants to nurse but he just puts his mouth over the nipple and screams!! He ate a lot before so I don't think he's actually hungry but idk what's wrong, he just keeps crying!! I checked his temperature and he's fine, idk why he's so unhappy??? He's one month old tomorrow...

It could be something you ate that's upsetting his belly...poor guy. Try some gas drops or gripe water, keep an eye on symptoms related to what you are, coddle him. Good luck!

Maybe reflux? My LO screams while breastfeeding if she is having reflux issues. We had to get some meds for it.

Can a baby get reflux suddenly at 4 weeks if he hasn't had any issues like it before?

Maybe hes gassy, my son isnt one to cry either but when hes gassy he does. We lay him on his back and bring his knees to his belly...it seems to really help him push it all out.

Thank you ladies!! He finally got to sleep and seemed to feel a little better and then I tried this this morning and every time I brought his knees to his belly he farted! I must've made him fart 10 times!! He seems to be doing better though, thanks so much for your help

Same here. She seems to be more gassy at night to for some reason. I am going to try the knees up thing to help her! I hate seeing them hurt :(
