Clingy Boyfriends

Me and my boyfriend have been together since February. We always meet up and enjoy each other’s company, but recently i haven’t been feeling quite the same and it’s frustrating and upsetting because i know i love him, but he’s just so clingy that it puts me off :/ i probably sound so silly but him always latching onto me gets me down because others say i control him, when actually it’s him who wants to always be with me. i feel like i need some space sometimes and it’s all too much - bringing me to tears. don’t get me wrong, he’s incredible. nobody can top his love & kindness but he’s just so clingy and it drags me down:(

are there any girls out there that could give me some advice? tia xx
