So... why do some pregnancy test say that they can find hcg in urine 4 days before ur missed period? Isn’t it true that hcg won’t show up until like a week after ur missed period?

I found out I was pregnant like 5 days before my missed period but it was because I ovulated super early and didnt know!

That’s not the case for every women, I tested 1 week before my missed period and  it was positive.

It usually shows up 2-3 days after implantation occurs. That’s normally somewhere between 6-12 DPO.

The boxes show they can pick up Hcg up to 6 days before. That’s only IF implantation has happened already. It can happen 6-12dpo so it depends on each person. 
No one ‘has to’ wait til a week late. Once you miss your period, you can test any day and hcg should already show up.
