Lower left abdominal pain

Hello ladies

I’m 15 weeks plus 3

And since 3 days I started experiencing a severe dull pain in my lower left side

It is not like cramps! It is just a dull pain which sometimes also become throbbing , and it increases when I walk or stand a lot.

Anyhow I contacted my OB and he advised me last night to go to ER

Among the investigations they did an ultrasound

And the report revealed that I have a low lying placenta

What I know from reading it is normal to be low at this stage and there is a high chance it will move up.

So any one experienced the same situation at 15 weeks! And do you think it is the cause of pain? As my other investigations are all normal!!
