Worried about 42 weeks

With ivf I know exactly the date of conception. I think the baby should not be wait until 42 weeks. I’m 40 weeks today. I haven’t had any symptoms or contraction at all. And my cervix is still closed. Went to the doctor they said the hospital is busy and full. I have to wait until they call for induction. But they haven’t told me any week or dates yet. So worried that I have to wait until 42 weeks. I have heard bad thing about overdue pregnancy. With the ivf baby should it be waited until 42 weeks ??
