Ttc for 2 years
Hi everyone! I am new to this group. My fertility specialist said I might need IUI and I am confused because all my labs are normal except my polycystic ovaries. 
Wondering what were your cases why u needed IUI?

We’ve been trying for over 1.5 years and have not had a pregnancy stick... IUI was the “next step” after timed intercourse. I’m currently in the TWW after our first IUI this cycle 🤞🏻

My husband has a low count and we had been trying for close to a year. As we started the process for iui, I had to have an hsg test and that showed I have cervical stenosis. I still havent had my iui due to needing surgical procedures and needing to repeat the hsg test at the proper time.

They can't find anything wrong with either myself or my husband but we have been TTC for 2 years and have never had a positive. So it was just something to try that wasn't as expensive and drastic as IVF. Hopefully it works for us eventually cuz IVF is out of our budget unfortunately

My husband had a lower sperm count due to a vasectomy reversal, and after routine intake testing it turned out my hormones were not behaving and not releasing on time, resulting in overdeveloped egg sizes. We'd been trying for 1.5 years and just had our first iui using a trigger shot. Waiting to find out if it was successful!

We started fertility treatments 3 years ago when we weren’t getting pregnant after trying for a couple of years. Turns out I have PCOS and don’t usual ovulate on my own. We now have a 2 year old and we’re trying for our second. 
I don’t feel like the IUI’s itself are terrible. The meds can make me sick, but the trigger shots aren’t bad! Good luck with whatever you decide! ❤️
