ECTOPIC PREGNANCY - HCG RISING AGAIN

I had surgery to remove a cornual ectopic pregnancy 21st August. My hcg went from 6000 to 3000 in 24 hours, then 3000 to 1000 in a week, and now a week later it has gone from 1000 to 2500! they think it is leftover tissue. One thing for sure is I am absolutely PETRIFIED of having surgery yet again! Has anyone ever experienced this? Google isn’t helping much except about miscarriage :(
