Help needed please Ladies

Hello ladies, I lost my baby at 18 weeks on 9th August and post that had a DNC. I have been bleeding since the DNC. Few days ago I had a foul smelling discharge with brown flow (sorry for TMI). Now my flow is back to red blood and just like a period along with cramps and ouchhhh it’s painful. Anyone been through this? I thought once this bleeding stops I will have few weeks before my period starts.

I will meet my doctor on Saturday as I didn’t get an appointment sooner but would love to hear your experiences. Thank you ladies ❤️
