Ferber method

Anyone do the Ferber method? Did it work, we co sleep but it’s just too much at this point. I love cuddling my little guy don’t get me wrong but I miss sleeping comfortably. I’ve tried the crib but I always give in when he starts to cry. I should mention his crib is in our room and will be for the next few months idk if that could interfere. I’ve tried sleep sacks never works. I just don’t know what to do. I’ve heard about the Ferber method and it doesn’t seem to bad.
