Situationship..SHOULD I MEET W HIM TONIGHT?
To make a long story short, I had been in this talking stage situationship with this really sweet, great guy for 3 months. We spent a lot of time together, always enjoyable. I think we developed a great budding friendship through dates, hanging out, going to his baseball games, working out together and going on hikes (which I love). He was chivalrous and a man who said he had not been exposed to romance but was showing a great amount of effort to show me he wanted to learn. We had a sexual relationship and we functioned as boyfriend/girlfriend without the title, honestly. Even though we showed PDA in public & everything
So what’s wrong? He got out of a relationship a month prior to our meeting, and he said he is not ready for a relationship now but he wants one in the future. I am interested in a relationship. And I have a little bit of patience, but I feel as though his time frame may be longer than what I want, even though he didn’t verbalize that. On a normal day of conversation, he told me that he thought he should work on himself right now. So I thought we were going to stop talking then he texts me two days later normally. We then had a talk and ceased communication.
I saw him two days ago and he texted me yesterday and said that I looked good, to which I replied “thank you.” Then I told him we didn’t need to talk and he said he understands & okay. It was upsetting because I really like him but it’s like he didn’t want to be with me.
I feel as though he’s a really good guy who actually wanted/wants to be in a relationship with me. Every day I think about him, and it’s been a month since we stopped talking 😩 sometimes I wonder if I was too hard or impatient. I have the urge to meet with him to tell him how I really feel bc I feel like my emotions may have clouded my judgement, I don’t know! Please vote!
