He might go to jail because of me

A couple months ago my fiance got arrested. I had been trying to leave him with our daughter and he basically threw an adult tantrum and threw my things and punched a hole in the wall.

He called me a bunch after I left and was just trying to say he loved me and wanted me back. I kept ignoring him but then he started to put my stuff outside so I called to get a police escort.

I didnt want him in trouble; but they ended up arresting him because they said it is domestic violence. He could be facing 3 years MAX and I feel so beyond terrible. We are trying to work on things, but he is making me feel like this is all my fault.

I don't know what to do but I hate myself right now!! He could lose his house, his job... everything.
