Vivid dreams on metformin

I’m taking metformin for my pcos and I swear that since being on it I have been having such VIVID dreams. Like I swear the dreams just feel so real

Is this a side effect and have any of you experienced this??

The other day I woke up from a vivid dream and it was noon and I legit thought it was like 3am because I was so dead asleep before getting woken up by a phone call

But the dream I had was like something I can’t explain.. it was just so real and not at all what I usually dream
