So i was talking with my boyfriend last night and we were talking about things we talked about Thursday and Friday night. We started talking about an engagement ring for me and how he wanted to get me a Stainless Steel one but then he brought up that i could pick out whatever one i wanted and idk if i should or if i should let him get me one he mite think i would like. Idk what to do honestly.

I picked two rings and let him surprise me with one of those options. I love my ring but I really really want the other one. My fiance has this social status money thing about him, even though we arent wealthy by any means. I picked a vera wang or a petrified wood ring. He got the Vera. It is gorgeous but I wish he wouldve gotten the wood ring. It would have meant so much more to me if he tossed aside his need for a social status and chose the ring that better fits my personality.
