Premature labor from incompetent cervix

I went into premature labor due to an incompetent cervix at 21 weeks. At 23 weeks I had our daughter. She passed away when she was 2 weeks old from a severe infection. My 6 week postpartum checkup is tomorrow. Anyone with experience with an incompetent cervix? If so, what did they do to “fix” your cervix so that you were able to carry a baby again? This is not our first loss; we’ve had miscarriages, but they were early without any known reason. We’ve had one successful pregnancy.
