Really not sure how to explain

My daughter just turned 2. She does this strange thing a lot. When someone talks to her she will repeat her 2 friends names in response. Example today a lady said that she was cute my daughter responded by saying Chloe (which is a family friend). I feel strange trying to explain to people why she constantly responds by saying her friends names for everything! I know this my sound strange but I want to know why she is doing this It’s driving me nuts!!!’
