Opinion on the Spectra S2?

Question

I applied for a breast pump through my insurance and I qualified for the Spectra S2 so that’s the one I chose. 
What’s your opinion on it? 
Do you have any tips or tricks for it or pumping in general?

Loved mine! I exclusively pumped for 10 months due to latch problems (tongue tie and suspected lip tie). I had ZERO problems and I put it through its paces. I liked that it was a closed system so milk didn’t get into the tubing or machine. It has a great night light so you can see when pumping at night too. The one thing I wish it had (which the s2 has) is a rechargeable battery so you’re not tied to an outlet. But that’s okay, it wasn’t a deal breaker.
For tips:
Make sure you get the right flange size. There are directions for measuring your nipple online. Do that!
Massage your breasts as you pump! It helps so much! Especially when they’re engorged. I got a lot more out if I continually did that throughout. 
Adjust the speed and strength do the suctioning for your own specific needs. Stronger and faster doesn’t mean you’ll get out more. It’s very individualized.
Invest in a pumping bra to pump handless! You don’t even have to buy one. I just got a heap sports bra and cut holes in it. If you’re handy with a sewing machine, put a thick seam around the circle to prevent it from stretching out. 
Good luck!! My pump helped me give breastmilk to my son when I otherwise would have had no other choice but formula (not that that’s a bad thing, I just really wanted to breastfeed!)

Love it. Everyone I know prefers it to the Medela, plus it is closed so it can’t grow mold like a Medela.

I’d go with Medela it works so much better I had the spectra s2 it sticks!
