Will they test for ovulation before IUI?

Question

Triggered last night and IUI in the morning but worried that I’ve already ovulated since this is the day I typically ovulate. Will they (or can they?) check if I’ve ovulated prior to IUI?

In my experience, they do not check for ovulation right before IUI. They can confirm that ovulation happened on 21 day blood work later on. But I wouldn’t worry. If you had mature follicles on your sono that hadn’t ovulated yet and your getting IUI tomorrow, the sperm shouldn’t miss the egg. Sounds like the timing is good.

Thanks, everyone! Just finding worries to pour my anxiety into 🤯 I had good follicles on my scan yesterday and triggered last night. I typically have a short luteal phase so I was just worried I missed it. They haven’t requested any blood work this cycle, only scans
