Metformin

Has anyone take Metformin ? And it helped you convince afterwards ??? I’m confused since my left Fallopian tube is blocked ? I even ask my OBGYN doctor if their a chance I can get a check up if I got PCOS ? And he said everything seems normal your hormones etc . I still don’t understand why I have to take metformin

I guess to lose weight ? Or help me ovulate ? . He only told me their like a scar tissue in my left Fallopian tube that’s why it’s blocked . And their nothing we can do to unblocked it . So the next step is my husband will do semen analysis test . If it comes back normal then my next step IUI but like I told my doctor I’m not ready for ivf or iui .
