Anyone else having heartburn during pregnancy?

I’m having the worst heartburn and gas pain in my chest 😩 I can’t stop burping and it hurts to lay down or even be propped up. I literally have to sit all the way straight up in order for my heartburn to be decent. 
I don’t have any tums... anyone know of any home remedies that is safe during pregnancy?

Try drinking milk or eating yogurt, the calcium is what is in tums that helps.

I have had it my whole pregnancy. Currently 35+3. 
Up until a week ago, gaviscon was working really well for me! 
Someone told me that fruit tingles work too because of the bicarb soda in them, and someone else told me today that they put bicarb soda water and drank it and it helped. It just tastes horrible. 😂

Mine was so bad I had to start taking Zantac because tums was no longer working for me.

i get heartburn from almost everything. just laying down sometimes gives me heartburn. if this little girl comes out bald i’m going to be upset lol. please get yourself some tums. i would not be able to survive without them.

I took zantac daily for several months but it stopped working (so did Tums). I switched to pepcid and it works. I highly suggest trying zantac or pepcid. Lifesavers.

Milk sometimes helped, but honestly tums & Zantac are the only sure things. I’d make my husband get up in the middle of the night to get it because it was so bad if we didn’t have any at home.

Acid reflux and heartburn like crazy during pregnancy. Thing that really helped me was a shot of pickle juice. Not a full shot. But like a half shot or as much as you can stand.
