Not a very effective strategy. If you want to make sure the name isn’t popular, look up its actual statistics.
I’ve seen plenty of times when the name with the least votes on a poll was something super common. So if you are using polls to guess at popularity data, you might end up being misled.

I post names seeing if people like them BUT it honestly has no impact on my decision lol. I have a list of a few that I like but hubby and I can’t pick THE one so we will prob end up drawing out of a hat or seeing closer to the due date if one just feels right
