so randomly my toe got super swollen  and was hurting, bad! Then i noticed it had a puss pocket almost so I popped it and this happened

Well after I popped it, it still didn’t get any better and now it looks like this. No doctor can get me in until October 2nd so am I fine to wait that long? No clue what to do. Is this an infected ingrown toenail? I’ve never had an ingrown toenail, so idk?

My suggestion I to soak your foot. Soak it in an Epsom salt can even add witch hazel, rubbing alcohol, peroxide which ever is your go to cleaner for wounds and such. Remove the nail polish to reveal the nail more. And then soak your foot again in epsom and or your cleaning choice. Then decide if you should/shouldn't wait. Cause er is gonna wanna see the fleshy look of your toe nail bed anyways.

Without being able to check the nail, it is definitely infected. But can’t tell you if it is ingrown. I would take the polish off and see what the nail bed looks like. Keep it clean until you can see your doctor.

Go to a walk in clinic, you need antibiotics.

Remove the nail polish, soak foot in epsom salt, aftar patting dry apply neosporin and then cover with gauze pads and wrapping. Do that for a couple days and if there appears to be a nail ingrown make an apt woth a podietrist. Keep it clean and neosporin on it
