Doctor weight shaming 🙁

I've gained 30 pounds at 30 weeks pregnant and my glucose test came back at 130 not fasting. My first baby was 9 and a half pounds and my glucose level was much lower with him. I had a very easy vaginal delivery. I eat mostly healthy and move around as much as possible.

My current baby is weighing an estimated 4 and a half pounds.

The doctor told me today that my diet is the reason I have big babies. My husband is 6'3" and an ex-football player and I am 5'10" and normal weight, with big hips. She said I am borderline gestational diabetes and we need to "keep the babies weight down, and it wouldn't hurt to get your weight gain to slow, too". I am supposed to cut out sugar and carbs and "act like a diabetic without the finger pricks".

This is the third appointment she has commented on my weight. I know she's a doctor, but I find it so rude and unnecessary. I am worried she is going to try to force me to induce early, which I am not comfortable with. I want to switch doctors but it seems too late and they already had me prepay for delivery Maybe I'm overreacting. What would you do? 😭 Also
