Decoding my husband

He’s usually very straight forward and so I am I. I thought we had agreed we were trying again but last night, after we’ve had sex like four times in the last few days he goes: I just want to clarify...am I trying to get you pregnant?

I mean help me out here...am I misunderstanding the conversations we’ve had over the last month??? Two stick out to me very prominently.

During a conversation about whether we should wait until after we move to start trying...

Him: so you’re ready now?

Me: yes! Very!

Him: wow, you’re really ready. Okay.

And then during a conversation about how much we have saved in our HSA:

Him: well you’re going to get pregnant in the next year or two.

Me: yup.

Him: Well let’s just get it out of the way...the sooner the better.

I mean I remember these conversations very clearly...was it not clear that we were trying? I don’t want to feel like I’m springing this on him, but then he asked for clarification last night and it made me second guess whether or not we had had a clear discussion about all of this. Or is he just being weird about this...
