Confused

My bf is 17 years older, he has two grown children from two different women. We have been on and off for a year, mostly because of the distance and him having to work on his business. He’s away for 15 days and only in town for 5. Everytime, he’s days off approach. He tells me that he wants to spend it all with me etc. But it’s always one night together, then he is spending the rest of the days with his friends. I know he has genuine feelings for me, but I require so much presence, love and affection and I always end up looking like the needy gf who’s always waiting for him to wanna spend time with me. I don’t know what to do anymore. Help pls.
