Waiting on AF

So I'm off the depo shot and I'm waiting on AF so I can start tracking ovulation and start trying for my rainbow baby. It's been a while and recently for like 4 days maybe. I've been having pink/red spotting everytime I wipe. Sometimes it's a bunch. Sometimes it's barely visible. But it's never enough to get on my pad or underwear.

(Edit to add) I've talked to my dr he says the spotting is normal and for me to celebrate once I get my first period. And I know I takes a while for the depo to actually get out of your system. I only had 1 shot and it's been months already for me. The past times I had the depo I usually get pregnant after the 3red month of my last shot.

(Another add) I just went to the restroom and when I stood up I had a long string of blood hanging down. Which happens all the time on my period.

Do I not count this as my period?
